I honestly really hated this book in the beginning pages. I thought it was corny and similar to every other rom com book with enemy-lovers & fake dating tropes. I honestly pushed through just so I could read ~something~ and then I ended up finishing it in a day.
I think the author incorporates cheesiness in the most perfect way. I love how they tackle mental health, toxic relationships, big feelings like shame ect. I love how loveable these characters and how the author brought together a gorgeous dynamic between them. This book was so well-written that I found myself truly outside of myself and as if I have a connection with the characters (not even the leads) myself.
