Honestly, I thought that this was one of the worse books by him that I have ever read. I didn't care for it whatever so. I felt like 50% of the book wasn't needed and that you could read 50% of the book and still know what was going on. I know alot of people will disagree (my mom would because this is her favorite Stephen King book so far) but honestly, it didn't do anything for me. I like Stephen King books that drag me into the story and keep me reading to find out what happens next but with Gerald's Game, I felt like I had to force myself to finish it. It took me 8 days to finish while Under the Dome took me 7. (UTD is 1,074 pages and Gerald's Game is 300ish pages) Maybe I totally missed something in the book that made it so great but I don't know :/
