A lot of people in my book club thought it was slow and were skeeved out by the teenage sex. I am obsessed with the show Gentleman Jack, so I might have been a little biased, but it reminded me of a lesbian Jane Austen novel. And the sex didn't creep me out because it just reminded me of being that age.
