A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
4.0
A little late to the party buuut I finally caught up with the publication of the ACOTAR series 🥳 bearing in mind I started it at the beginning of 2023 it has taken quite some time and I hope my plans to read Sarah J. Maas' other series don't take quite so long.
I have managed to avoid a lot of spoilers luckily for these books and I actually wasn't prepared for the change in POV! I did miss being with Feyre and Rhys but I really warmed to Nesta over the course of this book, who I hadn't previously enjoyed in the series I must admit. I also really liked getting to know Cassian more and I think this book was important to show his maturity. What I really loved was the other characters too, especially Emerie and Gwyn. I really enjoyed the plot and thought it was well paced throughout.
Some parts I felt could have been explained better, I did feel like I was missing information and getting characters confused as I did partially listen to the audiobook but I think reading fantasy for me I need to read the physical book.
I'm looking forward to continuing with this series when new books are released and in the meantime I'm going to start the Crescent City series next I think.
