Edgedancer by Brandon Sanderson

I adore Lift as a character, and I’m so glad she got her own novella. Sanderson is great at sneaking in plot and character development into comedic scenes, and this book is chock full of that. Lift’s interactions with Wyndle, her Victorian-butler-levels-of-proper spren, are also great. A fun, fast read after the slog of Words of Radiance. (Words of Radiance was GOOD, but it was also very long – probably 25 hours of reading.) I hope we see more of both of them in the main series.
