Apprentice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer
4.0
This book is a great continuation from book 1, although I think I still love book 1 more.
I’ll be honest I didn’t remember anything from book 1 and spent a lot of time at the beginning trying to remember how we got to where we did 😂
- Evie and Trystan spend this whole book avoiding their feelings while being fully aware of how each other feels (it was cute and charming and fit the plot in some ways, but it was also a little tiring)
- Trystan interacting with Lyssa is too cute, someone hold me I’m melting
- Evie is so funny, honestly her approach to everything should be annoying but it’s actually just so hilarious
- Evie being corrupted and learning the art of villainy is also iconic
- why does every person need a romance in this?? Sorry but I’m not invested in some of them, like Tati/Clare was established in book 1 but we barely got anything of them. Now it’s Blade/Becky and…*cleans glasses* Gideon and Keely?
