What a beautiful story. This was a unique experience. I loved how the author tied in music to not just the storytelling but the writing. Each chapter is a track, and the book is broken up into side A and side B. The music lover in me really enjoyed that. I especially loved the story for about the first 50%, and I was so sure I was going to give this 5 stars, but it just fell off a bit after that. The writing was still wonderful, and the characters were so well done, but something about it felt a little disjointed by that point. I absolutely loved seeing the depth of Santi and Suwa's characters. Suwa's journey with truly accepting his true identity was so raw and real. The author handled that so well. And the community of friends and found family around Santi and Suwa was so beautiful. Overall, this was great, and I loved it.
