A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
It's so rare to find the sequel to be better than the first book, but holy hell this book well and truly did it.
Sarah J. Maas has a way with words that has you feeling like you're part of the journey. Through every hard decision, heartbreak, fear, elation and humorous moments, you feel like you're part of the book.
The plot twists that kept cropping up were unpredictable and mind blowing. I don't think I've sworn so much in my life!
Feyre's character development is phenomenal. It was so refreshing seeing a character go through post traumatic stress. To actually be affected by the horrible things she had to endure.
Seeing her fight through that depression was inspiring. Having had to go through the mental barriers that Feyre did, I found it all so relatable and believable.
And don't get me started on Rhys. Perfect, perfect Rhys.
I have never wanted to recommend a book more. Sarah J. Maas is a flawless author who creates equally flawless stories.
