Honestly this book was so good! It started out pretty corny but as the story progressed the comedy got much more natural. I loved the characters and oddly found them relatable.
The book should have been much longer, especially since it is still fantasy and traditionally fantasy books need to be longer with better world building, but considering this is the authors first book I'd say it was outstanding. Definitely deserves a standing ovation.
