This was such a sweet, cozy, and quick read. I fell in love with this so easily. Ellis and Styx were so adorable. I loved how their relationship developed from sharing treats and Ellis telling stories to the beautiful romance that it became. This story may be short and quick, but their relationship didn't feel rushed. Ellis found a kindred spirit in the monster in the woods that everyone fears. Both Ellis and Styx were resigned to spending their lives alone, but then they found each other. I was practically kicking my feet from cuteness overload because Styx was helping Ellis pick his vegetables. I love this so much. It's a simple and quick story, but it's so good and definitely worth the read.
