This was a STUPID CUTE love story and a great way to spend my evening while my husband played “Metal Gear Solid.” I literally laughed out loud several times, and the pining/slow-burn was done very well (silly jokes, sunscreen application, and slow dancing were all micro-tropes). The BIG MOMENT came at 90% (it WAS satisfying and did NOT come after a 3rd act breakup, thank the Almighty). BUT the rest of the book kind of felt like a weird wrap-up which lacked the emotional oomph I was hoping for with a friends-to-lovers plot. But still tons of fun and perfect for fans of Jim & Pam from “The Office.”
