This is a super fun continuation of the Necessary Evils universe. But be aware that it also has plenty of dark subject matter, so check TWs. The growing relationship between Arsen and Ever was sweet, sure (if a little too insta-lovey for my usual tastes), but the found family is what I absolutely loved here. I really enjoyed seeing how Jericho's boys accepted Ever and made him one of their own. It was also especially fun seeing some of the Mulvaney clan when they went to take out the big bad of this story. All in all, this is a good time, and if you enjoyed the Necessary Evils series, then you would probably like this as well.
