Bride by Ali Hazelwood
5.0
Ali Hazelwood has never let me down. Ever.
This book seemed so different from her usual rom com style… and it certainly was different, but it was just as captivating, beautiful, hilarious, and obsession-worthy.
The Vampyre/Were world building was strong and after a few chapters of getting the environment and lore straight, I was sucked in and fully obsessed.
- Misery and Lowe were incredible leads and I love them both.
- The politics were interesting and not boring at all. It all linked together well.
- Honestly all the characters felt really good - I loved to love them OR I loved to hate them.
- I was like screaming about to throw my kindle in pure exhilaration at all the high energy twists and action in the final 30% of the book.
- Ana was the cutest little thing and I was honestly a little sad to not have as much of her toward the end.
- KINDA SPOILER: Third act breakup and a hostage situation? Ali Hazelwood did perfectly what Lucy Score tried to do three times in her Knockemout trilogy 👀
- I swear Ali Hazelwood must have crack infused in her books.
