Delilah Green Doesn't Care by Ashley Herring Blake
5.0
4.5
2 problems I have with this book:
1) In the first 4 chapters both main characters specify twice each that they are mostly attracted to women and non-binary people, and then non-binary people are never mentioned again (other than one mostly insignificant character that uses they/them pronouns). I found this frustrating because it felt like the author was lumping non-binary people with women in the way many "women's safe" space people do, in that they only see non-binary people as women-adjacent or women-lite -- which can often exclude more masculine or AMAB non-binary people, and can straight-up misgender more feminine or AFAB nonbinary people.
2) There so SO MUCH alcohol in this book. My God. Wine is mentioned 76 times. Rose 13 times.
