I was a quite disappointed with this book. The writing style was painful and considering it was in the first person, nothing was explained. I hate when authors try to write surprises from the character's point of view. First person doesn't work that way. The whole point of it is to fully explain plans and plots the character is involved in. Keeping secrets from the reader just reads awful and there were way too many conveniences for Silver that had me rolling my eyes.
