Oh my god, I really love this series. It's fun and cozy and so ridiculous. The romance is great, but the found family aspect is really what I love the most. Gem is such a star in these books, and I CAN NOT WAIT for his own story. Every character brings something fun and interesting to the story. These books are very low angst, and they're such a comfort to read. I really loved how the trans rep was written here, and as a trans person myself, I found it super relatable. It may not be fully necessary to read book one, but it will definitely help make things make sense and up the enjoyment factor. I actually think I like Jude and Toni more than Oliver and Liel, but I just love them all so much. I highly recommend checking this one out.
