This was pop fiction, not my typical romances, so it's a bit hard to frame a review... I think it was a good book overall. However, it was not a feel good book for the first ~85%. It was really sad, the MC is super depressed and drinking heavily and making all kinds of bad choices and there seems to be no way out. But if you can get through all of that, you do eventually get a HEA. But this is not an (emotionally) easy read overall.
