I admit this was a complete cover buy and it is quite possibly one of my all-time favourite book covers. And it actually paid off as this was an easy 5 star read for me!
This book started off with the sweetest author’s note and I knew this book was a winner immediately. I love those concept of dreams and magical realism is one of my favourite genres.
I also love workplace dynamics in all kinds of books but when it takes place in a literal dream store, it was just so funny. I loved all of the characters and Penny really was such a loveable main character.
My favourite, and I mean favourite, part of this book was the chapter about dogs and their dreams. There is a dream creator especially for animals and it honestly captured my heart. This was so emotional, there were other sensitive parts where people who had passed away had left dreams for their loved ones, and this just got me sobbing even harder, it was so bittersweet.
I highly recommend this book and to entice you, I mean this book has Santa Claus in it! What more could you want? Well it has leprechauns too. It has it all. This is part 1 of a duology and the second and final instalment is due in November, so it is one of my biggest anticipated releases for the 2nd half of 2024.
