When in Rome by Sarah Adams

4.0

I've been so eager to read from Sarah Adams and have a few of her books on my TBR but I thought I would start with the When in Rome series because I really wanted the small town vibes. And in Rome, Kentucky I definitely got that!
I think the only celebrity romance book I've read before is To Love Jason Thorn by Ella Maise and I actually like this trope more than I thought I would. I think it worked so well in this book between our main characters Amelia, a famous singer, and Noah, a pie shop owner in said small town. I really fell in love with their personalities, I think they were so well developed as individuals before the romance began.
What I also really enjoyed is the other characters, the nosy neighbours and Noah's sisters too. It was definitely what I wanted from a small town romance book.
The ending felt a tad rushed for me, I would have liked maybe 20-30, even 50, more pages, just to tie everything up better. But I really liked the conflict resolution and how everything was handled.
I'm so excited to read more from Sarah Adams and I think I may have found a new favourite romance author.
