Mini Audiobook Review: I'm going to keep this short and sweet because there are tons of reviews out there and a lot of readers in my life have already read this.

Hallelujah! Stephanie liked a romantasy!!!!! I had heard rumblings that this wasn't that high level world building so I finally bit the bullet and put my library hold in on the audio. Sure enough I did pretty well! I did have the list of characters readily available and I did consult a friend on some of the ending matter. But overall I was pretty confident in the understanding of what was happening in the book. My library hold came at the perfect time as the next book in the series comes out in 2 days. I love the internal monologue of Violet. It was making me laugh especially when it came to her thoughts on Xaden. And then Xaden, whewwwww the tension between him and Violet and how he protects her. I am glad I took the plunge to read this! I hope the next one is the same level of fantasy.
