Bride by Ali Hazelwood
5.0
Bride is my first read of Ali Hazelwood and I'm actually disappointed in myself that I have never given into the hype and read from her before! This was an easy 5 star for me, even though I haven't read many paranormal romances before and wasn't sure if I'd even enjoy it.
I just adored the characters, their differences and quirks, and I was rooting for their fake marriage from the very beginning. I actually don't like children in romance much at all, just a personal preference, but Ana? So freaking adorable, honestly one of my favourite characters.
This is also genuinely one of the only times I have ever been excited for an epilogue, and that's saying something really special. Epilogues typically come as standard in romance and they're usually so cheesy and predictable, I don't always like them. Yet all I could think of whilst reading was "I NEED A CHEESY EPILOGUE NOW!", I was desperate and then I saw it was from Lowe's perspective?! GOLD. An absolute winner.
What I loved the most about this book was the humour. It was so funny, I loved the writing and now I'm just kicking myself for not reading from Ali Hazelwood before so you best believe I will be adding her backlist to my TBR. I'm also really hoping for this to become a series as I think it is set up well at the end for another story.
