I enjoyed this book very much. It had a compelling mystery and featured strong character development. I particularly appreciated that the main character was older—approaching middle age, rather than being a teenager or an early 20s. She discovered that she was much stronger than she had believed. Her life was falling apart but she pulled up her big girl pants and dealt with it. She realized her old job is what made her her. Who she was trying to be was holding her back from being happy.
