Simple, fun, and steamy. The concept and story are not overly complicated. It's easy to read and follow. Jay and Hagen have a very interesting dynamic. Hagen was a bit obnoxious. I know his character is supposed to be the "over-grown frat boy" type, but it felt a bit much at times. For such a quick read, it was rather spicy. That said, the few dates Jay and Hagen went on were rather sweet and pretty adorable. It's a good setup for the rest of the series. Overall, it's easy to enjoy, and it's easy for the brain, and we just need that sometimes.
