This was okay. I always have fun in this universe because of all the shenanigans with our ensemble cast of characters. I was definitely entertained and found myself chuckling, but this was a bit of a letdown from book one. Dustin and Rob are great characters, and they end up having great communication, but not a lot happens in this book. The overarching story wasn't really all that present and just fell flat. I stayed for the characters in this one and not the story. Louisa Masters knows how to do found family vibes well, that's for sure. And the banter and snark is definitely fun. I like hanging out in this universe, I just wanted a little more to happen in the story.
