I think I'm biased here. Percy Jackson holds such a special place in my heart, and this series was my go-to right now while I have been feeling nostalgic. I have never written a review in my various rereads, so now is as good a time as any. I think, in some ways, I like The Sea of Monsters more than The Lightning Thief. I like the addition of Tyson. He is such a sweetheart, and I love that Percy eventually warms up to him as a sibling and becomes protective of him. The parallels to The Odyssey are fun, and Riordan's modern take on those encounters is rather entertaining. And the cliffhanger at the very end shook me the first time I read it. Overall, this is such a fun time, and I will always easily keep coming back.
