Anything with a Beauty and the Beast vibe is bound to catch my interest, and this one certainly did. It offered a blend of folklore, magic, and slow-burn romance that I found thoroughly enjoyable. The intimate scenes were just right for the age group—detailed enough to spark the imagination without being overly explicit. The unique magic system was intriguing, and the addition of demons and some church bias added an extra layer of depth. I appreciated that it was a standalone novel. While I do enjoy a good series, something is refreshing about a complete story all in one go.
