Mini Audiobook Review: Thank you so much to Berkley Romance for the free book! #Partner
Thank you so much to PRH Audio for the complimentary audio!

I tried so hard to get to this one last year and the season just went by too fast And now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long because this was such a charming listen!

I found myself a few times at Laurel's antics and found a little of myself in her. This had a few of my favorite romance tropes: enemies to lovers, one bed, fake dating and being stuck in one place/forced proximity.

You have to suspend your belief of reality just a tad for this, Laurel told some white lies and quickly they started to build up. And I just would imagine in real life, it would not have gotten as far as it did but for the sake of book it was fun. I do wish we got to see more of Laurel and Max flirting and being together together but they were still cute.

There's really not much more to say on this! I just really enjoyed it! I thought the narrator  Jennifer Jill Araya did a great job and made the listening go really quick. If you are a more read with your eyes, it is under 300 pages and easily digestible.

I recommend this book for the holiday season!
