first of all. shel silverstein did not deserve to be pulled into this clusterfuck. #shel shocked at how fucking many times this man is referenced in this book. second of all. she is the most fucking INSUFFERABLE. main character ever and we NEEVERRRRR get out of her pov like god what i would fucking give to get a PAGE. A PAAAAAGE OF SOMEONE ELSE JUST TO ESCAPE HER. WOW. third, annie crown found the word trope and never needed another one — THIRTEEN FUCKING TIMES. MAKE A DRINKING GAME AND READ THIS IN ONE GO AND YOU PROBABLY COULD ENJOY IT MORE. GOD KNOWS I WOULD HAVE. and if you’re going to write a virgin main character at least make her realistic. make her experiences realistic. like jesus fucking christ please give her the grace of a closed door first time granted its fucking different for everyone. like really. we also literally know nothing about these people, like she randomly had dyslexia and it was never explored or mentioned outside of one random ass time. and his arm was also like magically fine and he was like “yeah i got cleared its fine” ALSOOOOO — HOW THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE A BASKETBALL PLAYER LOVE INTEREST WHO DOES NOT EVEN PLAY FOR ONE PAGE???? i also didnt like how the punching incident was never discussed further like idk and it seemed like the diversity in this was like a checklist it felt very cheap and like annie crown rolled some dice to give them traits. everything about this sucked like im really sad and unimpressed w this. tldr; unrealistic. insufferable. time wasted. bye.
