This one took me about 50% to really get into it. But it was worth it. What I love most about F.T. Lukens books is that they create these amazing queer normative worlds. Spell Bound is no exception. There's a coziness within the magical adventure of the story because of the simple acceptance of that aspect of someone's identity. I ended up having a lot of fun with this one. The magical lore and world building were rather interesting and unique. Rook and Sun were definitely interesting MCs, especially Sun, in my opinion. There was also a little humor mixed in. There is a particular scene involving a cat that comes to mind that had me chuckling. Overall, this is just simple fun, and I especially loved the positive representation we got here.
