I could not stand the FMC and the MMC was SO GOOD TO HER, he was honestly a push over. I would have DNF'd it but I was hoping the FMC was gonna be the one that needed to grovel to the MMC - which I think would have been a better plot line tbh. BUT OF COURSE the climax had to be him doing smth SUPER bad to actually have us feel bad for the FMC a little bit. I'm really annoyed the FMC never had to be held accountable.
 

The FMC brings a dog, brings visitors, and makes the biggest messes so basically broke every single rule of his then gets sad when he calls her out and he feels guilty and then she does it again and again. If she doesn’t get her act together, this book is gonna be 2 stars.

He was right in the fight scene about one thing, she kept ignoring his very few rules and the fact that she never had to apologize or anything really irritates me. IDK if this is a series issue bc I forgot I read it but my review for The Setup seems to be very similar. LOL 

I need to read something different from Quinn bc if it's not this series, it might be her style isn't for me.
