Where do I even begin with this book honestly. I couldn't put it down. I was expecting classic rom com and it was but the book really wraps you up. I laughed and cried. I did also like the way Leon's chapters were written. I do think it reflected him well as a character and they changed as his character developed. Quite clever actually.

More than anything though, I am so pleased with how they really explored the grittiness of emotional abuse and PTSD. The slow trickle of memories that come back was painfully relatable but it was woven so well into the story, I really felt the comfort Gerty, Mo and Leon all provided.
