Washington's Spies: The Story of America's First Spy Ring by Alexander Rose

5.0

I adore the TV show TURN, so I've been thinking for awhile I should read the book upon which it is based. Then this past Thursday morning, my hubby and I, while on vacation in Virginia, went to the Yorktown Battlefield, and we picked the book up at the museum. We read this aloud to each other on the trip, and finally finished it up here at home, and we loved every minute of it. Engrossing, it's a fascinating look at a lesser known aspect of the Revolutionary War, as well as occasionally being laugh out loud funny and just generally delightfully written. Truly, love it a great deal.
