I received the Best Hex Ever through my Afterlight monthly romance subscription and I'm so glad as I had my eye on it and was planning on buying a copy.
There were so many elements I truly loved with this book, I loved the characterisations and felt like we really got to know our main characters as well as side characters and pets too! It felt like a warm hug, especially with the cosy café aspect. Dina and Scott complemented each other so well too, I was really rooting for their relationship.
I did feel as though the plot was lacking, even for a romance book, I would've just appreciated more side-plots to drive the story forwards.
This book was very heavy on the spice and personally I found it to be too much for this book and romance in particular. I just wish we spent a bit more time with our main characters together which didn't involve it always leading to sex.
I would recommend this book but it's definitely a seasonal read in my opinion, so I'd read it in the autumnal, witchy season if you're looking to pick this up.
