i really wanted to love this book! i thought the characters were sweet — gave New Girl vibes in an office setting. it just fell flat for me. layla had a whole arc surrounding her parents that i really wanted to see explored!! the mc names being luke and layla with the heavy star wars references was almost too much for me.
luke was one of those guys that just confused me as well. he apparently is built like a sexy big bird and their size difference was just way overplayed for me
