Falling for the Cat Guy by Kate Berberich

4.0

⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a fun, quick read! Maggie is a paramedic coming out of a long term relationship and Brad is an author, editor, and all-around cat guy. When Maggie moves in across the street, they both find what they didn’t realize they were looking for.

I really love the vibe of this book. Between the cat rescue, the smalltown setting, and great side characters, the story was cozy and ideal fall read for me right now. We get to see everything from both Brad and Maggie’s minds as they settle into life as neighbors and friends. They deal with everything from cats in gutters, nursing kittens, town parades, and more. Even through a terrible storm, they help each other and make sure they’re both safe, which only caused me to root for them as much as their family and friends were.
