This story follows Emerson, who is due to give birth any moment and has moved to a small town to escape the big city. After her dog eats some chocolate-filled cookies, she rushes to the vet. Dr. Wicked, the owner of the clinic, has international goals and is part of his family’s motorcycle club. Baz Wicked doesn’t have time for commitment, but he can’t get her out of his head.

I devoured this book. This man is perfection in the way he helps her from the start. The pregnancy and birth in the first few chapters really set the tone for the story, and you get to watch them fall hard for each other. I’m a sucker for the pregnancy trope at the moment—it makes me melt. I loved all of Baz’s family and how welcoming they made Emerson feel. I highly recommend the audiobook; the narrators are fantastic!
