Annie Bot by Sierra Greer
reflective
4.5
Annie Bot was one of my most highly anticipated releases of 2024 and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read it soon after release via audiobook. First I will mention I really enjoyed the audiobook experience and the narrator was fantastic.
The concept was fascinating and I have enjoyed so many AI sci-fi books, but in actuality this book is very dark and handles some really difficult and distressing topics. I felt so connected to Annie as a character and was emotionally invested in her life and relationship with Doug.
I do feel like the ending wrapped up too quickly and just wanted a couple more chapters to round off the story.
Annie Bot was very well written, it’s also a debut novel, and I would love to read more from this author in the future.
