📝 Overall this was a good Talia Hibbert shortie. It was sweet and spicy and packed a fair amount of angst into a short amount of time. It definitely espoused some leftist politics (mainly brexit is bad, but also more general Tories sucking, and like, it's decent to care about other people), so if that offends you.... IDK, learn to be better person?

🎧 I did this as an audiobook and it was mostly enjoyable, I think both narrators (it was dual POV/narration) did a very good job with the material. But there was an entire section of text that the narrators repeated? Like it was written from the FMC's perspective, but the male narrator was reading it, which was super confusing. And then it switched to the female narrator reading that same part over again. So that was weird and annoying and does not speak well of the editors. I deducted a bit from the star rating for that, unfortunately.

🌶️ 4/5 multiple explicit scenes

🏳️‍🌈✊ Diversity: great! Both MCs are Black and the only side characters we encounter (it's a short book) appear to be POC as well. It seems like both MCs are working class (he's a mechanic, she runs a website). Both have larger bodies.
