I love an MC who's obsessed with romance books, as the FMC here is. I feel like we spent a little too much time on the ex hunt, and couldn't spent more on the MC's relationship.
🎧 Single (female) POV, single female narrator. She did a good job but it just didn't hit all the way for me.
🌶️ 3/5 for the two scenes that we got
🏳️🌈✊ FMC and her BFFs are Chinese American. MCs are working class (fire fighter and nurse). I don't remember any queer rep in the side characters and both MCs seem to be straight.
