Monster in His Eyes by J.M. Darhower

Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.
where did all that flavor from the beginning go? im ok with a romance not being believable in terms of plot, but the relationship has to be convincing and that's not the case here. too much wish fulfillment and zero nuance.

although i like naz and his aura, the mystery surrounding him seems to be based pretty much on the mc's total lack of common sense. and she's supposed to be intelligent??? the girl keeps quoting philosophers to show us how she's superior in comparison to her ONLY friend when actually the dumb whore of the story is not her roommate lol

that said, i might come back to it when im feeling too lazy to start a new book. idk maybe there's a plot twist at some point to explain why a person so busy and experienced would be interested on the mc's nonexistent personality (and i do like a man who buys his bitch expensive clothes).
