Oaths and Omissions by Sav R. Miller
3.0
Oaths and Omissions, the third book in the Monster & Muses Series, where we are introduced to Jonas Hill and Lenny Primrose.
First of all, let me say, the spice in this series throughout has been *impeccable*. However, for me, I found that the chemistry between Jonas and Lenny didn't quite live up to the relationships of the other couples in the series, Kal & Elena and Aiden & Riley. I was very glad to see some reappearances in this book though.
Sav R. Miller does such a fantastic job of developing her characters. For instance Preston, easily, the most irritating man ever to live. I absolutely despised him, just as Miller intended. Also the dad? My heart broke. I completely didn't envision the twists and turns in this book.
The dual POV format was again a big plus for me, and at the beginning of all books in this series, there are trigger warmings. I highly recommend reading them beforehand as there are some pretty dark themes in this book and this genre isn't for everyone.
So overall, the spice was still top notch, however the plot was a bit 'forgotten about' in this one for me.
3/5 ⭐⭐⭐
