A fantastic start to a new story in the Shadowhunter world! The characters are awesome and powerful in their own ways and I'm very excited to see their developments. As a huge fan of The Infernal Devices character cameos made the book that much more enjoyable and had the feels rolling in. The ending left on a cliffhanger of a different magnitude than expected but I am sooooo ready for the next one! Be sure to read the The Infernal Devices then The Mortal Instruments beforehand as there are a lot of spoilers for them. I would also recommend reading The Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy before also, as a lot of things didn't make sense to me because it was shared in those short stories.
Overall a fantastic read and one I strongly recommend!
