I BURNED through the first 2 books in the series in about 4 days, so imagine my disappointment when I DNFed this one because I got so so bored. A LOT happens in the first 10% of the book and then virtually nothing happens til like 70%. Once Casteel and Poppy admit they love each other and are married the series immediately goes flat. There's not any more tangible growth of their relationship, no more getting to know each other, no learning curve to their relationship and power dynamics....just sex and stagnation and repetitive dialogue about how amazing Poppy is and what Casteel smells like. And repeating the same jokes that have been going since book 1 about 900 more times.  Disappointing.
