I was not expecting the amount of Omegaverse this book contained.  Still not to my taste exactly but these books have a certain charm.  Brie and Felix (bi king) are really entertaining even if I didn't buy their relationship exactly.  Another book that I would have been better sold if they were lesbians.  I just don't like fated mates on his end and on hers I had no clue why it would happen that fast.  If you try to write a walls up character, it can't be this fast.  Like I get what you are trying to do but choose another flaw or trauma.
I also kind of wish they weren't fated mates in the end but decided to be together against fate since they fell in love anyway but I digress.  Also they really didn't wrap up the werewolf plot of it all but can respect wanting to be a werewolf.
I also don't love the repeat of Rabbit to Lamb.  We already did that and now it just feels like they are viewing them as prey.  It made more sense with Fallon and his archetype but Felix doesn't really fall into that category but straight women only see one type as hot soooo....  I was charmed by Brie's love of books both for the smut aspect
and annoying the big bad into letting her go in the climax.
The smut in general was still quite good as per the last book and I liked the inversion of the black woman as protagonist and white man as monster. As with the last book, the side characters really shined, including the bits of Cin we see.  Personally, Usha book when?  I love her.  I also loved Alexis and I'll say it, Alexis book when?  I also found it hilarious that the annoying hero from the first book was a lesbian also.  Sapphic book when?
