This is the book. This is the book that I’ll never stop thinking about. I LOVE Done and Dusted and Swift and Saddled with my whole heart. But this one feels  like whole other thing, watching Teddy and Gus fall in love felt like such a privilege. The way that Lyla writes with her whole heart shows up on the page in a way that is truly indescribable. This family that she created makes my heart feel so incredibly full. There is no place like Meadowlark and I am feeling so grateful we still have one more trip to take.

First and foremost there is not a pair out there like Teddy and Emmy. I love those girls with everything I have. I loved seeing their friendship from Teddy’s perspective, seeing how they’ve changed in the last few years, and how hard it was for her. But seeing how much they love each other and the fact that that is the only thing that matters is such a beautiful thing.

GUS AND TEDDY. A perfect enemies to lovers. From the second we saw them together on page we knew they were endgame right??? I loved watching them fall in love and really and truly learn things about each other!! Their banter was SO good. The tension was perfect! How quickly Gus started seeing her in a different way but didn’t know what to do about it! Teddy and Riley are an actual dream team and I loved seeing their summer together. I LOVED Gus and Riley together. I cannot wait to see more of their little family in Cam’s book. 

Also AMOS RYDER!! I LOVE him I am feeling so GRATEFUL we are getting a prequel!!! And also a special shout to Hank Andersen! I loved seeing the inside of his and Teddy’s relationship!

And while I know I JUST said that this one was special…I DO think Wild and Wrangled is going to be it for me. The way I already love Cam so deeply?? And I am such a SUCKER for a second chance. I fear it will ruin me in the best way.

Also the little note from Lyla was a REAL TEAR JERKER. So hug your dad a little tighter tonight kids, he’s not always gonna be there.
