Destiny of a Princess: Chronicles of a Faked Death, Book 2 by B. Kinde

4.0

Two decades ago Myra was the Kepler’s Princess who had to fake her death to live and save the life of her two young sons. Now with a new identity, a new face and a new family she must never tell who she truly is if she wants to keep her family alive.
Even though Myra had to abandon her two eldest children, princes Liam and Haimirich, she now watches them from afar. She is unable to help them during their darkest hour, Liam who is brain dead from an attack on his life and Rich is reeling from being promoted from the spare to the heir. But soon all their lives are about to change when Liam dies, what can Myra do? Will Rich become the new king, or will they find out that the queen never truly died?
Overall rating 4/5
If you love a quick, clean space romance this book is for you. There are many parallels in this book to the real world, such as the correlation between Princess Diana and her children (see if you can spot them). Also the name of the president of Mars and his son’s names…. and the reference to a virus similar to that of Covid. I would have loved to see more world building to pull the reader into the world of Myra.

*Thank you to B. Kinde, Renee Field, and Netgalley for the ARC copy. I am freely leaving my honest review.
