In the Weeds by B.K. Borison
4.0
Back in Inglewild at Lovelight Farms and I was sooooo excited to get Beckett's story, he was one of my absolute favourites in the first book. The romance between Beckett and Evelyn is definite opposites-attract and I loved these characters so much and their chemistry!
There was miscommunication, which I didn't mind as they actually acknowledged and addressed it! They worked out their issues by communicating again effectively and I just think this book did a great job of demonstrating this trope and how it can be resolved.
I do think this book had less content of the characters' backstories than the first book in the series but I did like the growth of each of them as people, both separately and together.
I can't wait to start Mixed Signals in preparation for the fourth book Business Casual to release this Summer.
