This memoir was recommended to me and I put a hold on at my local library and read this in tandem with listening to the audiobook. First of all, I will mention that the narration by Luke Thompson was actually incredible - it was so well done and perfect for this book. I would highly recommend the audiobook.
This memoir was gripping and powerful, I couldn't believe what I was reading and to find out what was happening at the time wasn't even illegal was shocking. It reduced me to tears by the end and the ending in part 3 I was shocked by all over again.
The author is incredibly brave for publishing this memoir and I truly wish him all the success for his future. His story is important and I will recommend this widely.
