This book is full of nostalgia but honestly... the second half has such a different tone and I wasn't loving it. By the end it felt like I was truly stuck in a neverending story and I was just trying to push through. But the first half? Epic, fun, and wildly original world.

This is an insanely epic adventure fantasy where we travel all over Fantastica and meet all sorts of fantastical creatures. At times, it felt like some chapters/events weren't super necessary and basically just made the book longer without adding a lot to the central plot.
