I'm disappointed that I didn't like this one as much as everyone else seems to, but I just could not get into it. I found the writing really bland and monotonous and very much "Tell, not show." It feels juvenile, sort of like the book was written either by or for a 6th grader. Not one of the characters seems like a real person, just a series of character archetypes. Idk, I truly hate to be harsh when I LOVE cozy books but I just really feel like it could have used a lot more fine tuning before being published.
